Letterboxing is an active outdoor hobby that combines elements of orienteering, art and problem-solving. Letterboxers hide small, weatherproof boxes in publicly-accessible places and distribute clues to finding the box on several web sites (www.letterboxing.org or www.atlasquest.com, for example).

Individual letterboxes usually contain a logbook and a rubber stamp. Finders make an imprint of the letterbox's stamp on their personal logbook, and leave an impression of their personal stamp on the letterbox's logbook — as proof of having found the box. Many letterboxers keep careful track of their "find count".

Private groups are always welcome with a minimum of 6 rooms booked, double occupancy (12ppl).  With your private group, you are free to choose a weekend of your choice.  No need to go by our schedule.

Mystery Boxing in Vermont

Here’s a weekend of murder with a twist. This will surely spice up your summer escape. We’ve created a suspense-filled murder mystery special and have hidden boxes with our personalized stamp around the valley with various clues to the evening’s festivities. What can be more fun than hunting for clues during the day and that evening dressing up as a suspicious character, participating in shadowy activities and bribing others with the clues you’ve found?
