SHIMANO NORBA NATIONAL FINALS RETURN TO MOUNT SNOW
Mount Snow, Vermont (April 22, 2005) -- Mount Snow, home
to the first mountain bike school in the country, is pleased
to announce the return of the Shimano NORBA National Mountain
Bike Series Finals. From August 25 - 28, amateurs and top
professionals will compete in Downhill, Cross-Country, Dual
Slalom, Short Track, Super D, and Trials events.
“Being selected to host the Finals is further evidence
that Mount Snow is the Mountain Bike Capital of the East,”
says Doug Daniels, Mount Snow Director of Events. “The
top mountain bike athletes in the world will converge for
these races and we anticipate a strong amateur showing as
well.”
Mount Snow has become a favorite stop for the NORBA Series
and this year marks the seventeenth time Mount Snow has hosted
a NORBA event. The Finals represent the last chance for the
pros to increase their point standings to win the coveted
national title. Amateur riders also have the opportunity to
compete in all disciplines.
In addition to spectacular racing action, Mount Snow will
also host several exposition areas, product demonstrations

The NORBA National Mountain Bike Series is North America's
premier off-road cycling series. The series crowns USA Cycling's
Mountain Bike Champions. USA Cycling is the national governing
body for cycle sport.
Set in the Green Mountain National Forest, Mount Snow offers
45 miles of mountain bike terrain, consisting of single-track,
old town roads and ski trails that challenge all levels and
abilities of riders in a classic Vermont setting.
